Welcome to Project Kilimanjaro

Project Kilimanjaro is how we turn ad-hoc work into a named, visible, defensible system — an operation, not a department. This page gets you oriented and productive in your first week.

The map

Where everything lives.

Six places you’ll use. Open each once so you know it exists — you’ll come back to them as work demands.

Your first week

Do these, in order.

A short, concrete checklist. Done by Friday, you’re oriented and know where the work is.

  1. Get access — sign in with your work Microsoft account.
  2. Read the operating manual (Nkabom home) end to end.
  3. Skim the Operating model so you know the six functions and who owns each.
  4. Find yourself in the Resource database; check your role, sector and skills are right.
  5. Read the Performance framework so you know how you’ll be graded and grown.
  6. Browse the AIA Academy — bookmark two methodologies relevant to your first task.
  7. Check the "What needs to happen" board for anything with your name on it.
Who owns what

The operating-model owners.

If you’re unsure who to ask, start with the function owner. The full picture is on the operating model.
