Commercialisation & Go-to-Market Strategy
AIA's ecosystem-based approach to business development and commercialisation: aligning project sourcing, funding, partnership development and delivery so that entities can grow revenue and impact without becoming solely dependent on operational grants.
What it is
An end-to-end business-development methodology spanning strategic advisory and stakeholder engagement, project identification and planning (including feasibility studies), financial and partnership facilitation, implementation and execution support (including StratXe-based monitoring), and monitoring/evaluation/continuous improvement — aimed at diversifying an organisation's funding mix and growing impact through self-sustainability rather than dependence on a single funding source.
Problem it solves
Delivery-focused public entities with a strong project track record often remain financially fragile because impact is dependent on operational funding; this methodology shifts them toward self-sustaining, ecosystem-driven growth.
When to use
- A public entity or development agency needs to diversify funding and scale delivery sustainably
- A client needs an end-to-end sourcing-to-delivery business development capability
Key questions
- What is our current maturity, impact and relevance as a delivery organisation?
- How do we diversify our funding mix beyond core operational funding?
- What ecosystem of partners, products and data/intelligence do we need to scale?
