Digital Maturity Index (DMI)
AIA's proprietary Digital Maturity Index, rating organisations across five domains (Strategy, Customer Focus, Capability, Technology, Execution) on a five-level scale from Basic/Reactive to Digital Leader, delivered via a public online survey tool.
What it is
A proprietary AIA diagnostic that rates an organisation across five domains — Strategy, Customer Focus, Capability, Technology, Execution — on a five-level maturity scale (Reactive, Basic, Engaged, Competitive, Digital Leader), delivered via an online survey (Microsoft Forms-based) and benchmarked against a public-sector average where relevant.
Problem it solves
Gives organisations and AIA a repeatable, comparable starting diagnostic for digital transformation programmes, rather than a bespoke assessment built from scratch each time.
When to use
- The start of any digital transformation, IT strategy or digital-readiness engagement
- A client wants to benchmark against sector peers
Key questions
- Do we have a clearly defined digital strategy?
- Are we customer-centric in how we design and deliver digitally?
- Do we have the capability (people, partnerships) to execute our digital agenda?
- Is our technology infrastructure fit for a real-time, personalised digital offering?
- Are we executing well against our digital strategy?
